Lifestyle | Breakfast at Keelham Farm Shop

As you might know I love a good breakfast, especially when the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced.

Earlier this month I headed to Keelham Farm Shop in Skipton for a fresh breakfast and some grocery shopping.

Although starting off as a humble farm, Keelham has grown to become a no ordinary farm shop, it now offers breakfast in it's quirky cafe as well as boasting a huge barn fully stocked with local and fresh ingredients.

We didn't book in for breakfast so had a short wait for a table as it was busy due to being a Bank Holiday, but I didn't mind as I had the chance to check out these Pinterest-worthy bathrooms in the mean time. The breakfast menu was varied and seemed to have something for everyone, I had simple poached eggs with extra bacon and a pot of tea which was very reasonably priced and super tasty!

After breakfast we had a wander around the farm shop and I honestly could have come home with a trolley full! Not only is it full of fresh fruit and veg but there's also a bakery, butchers and florist in the barn!

I stocked up on large punnets of fruit and seeds at really great prices due to it being from farmers and growers close by.

The barn makes picking your food interactive and fun too, with ideas like seed dispensers and pick and mix biscuit areas making it family friendly as well as actively getting kids interested in healthy food.

Keelhams has a charming, authentic 'country kitchen' feel throughout the shop and resturant making the traditional farm shop a little more exciting and contemporary. It is well worth a visit if you live near or are passing through Skipton.

Have you ever been to Keelham? I am always looking for new places to try out, so if you have any recommendations for places to visit around Skipton or the North West, I would love to hear them!
