Neon Knits & Winter Walks

So October has been mega busy and I haven't had much time to blog recently. I am currently in the process of making some bridesmaids dresses for my friend as well as being busy with work. But I have managed to squeeze in knitting a few more hats. I found these really cute faux fur pompoms on ebay and used some brightly coloured wool I found in the sale at my local wool shop.

Its been gorgeous weather here lately so I thought I'd take some snaps of the hats whilst on a stroll around my village, with my (camera shy) mum and (not so camera shy) yorkie dog Bob.

I love perfect autumn days; blue skies but a little bit nippy.

My dog loves being center of attention. He is 13 years old now so I have grown up with him in my life and just think he is one of a kind. What a little cutie!

I live in a sleepy village in Lancashire in the shadow of Pendle Hill. Its full of quaint cottages and old mills and I love calling it home.

These hats are so fun and easy to make, I love experimenting with bright colours and different patterns.

What are your favourite accessories to wrap up in this winter?

  1. Ahh I'm so envious of your knitting skills!! Such a fab hobbie. I love the red/grey hat. I bet it would look great with a matching pair of mittens or hand warmers :) Your home town also looks so lovely! Danielle x
